Keeping the Holiday Spirit Alive – The Fun of Decorated Christmas Trees Dec 31
Come November, you will find malls crowded with people rushing to complete their shopping lists of gifts to buy for their loved ones. And why not, this is most likely the most celebrated time of the year throughout the world. Definitely it is the most special. Yuletide songs are blaring on every car radio; Bearded Santas ring their bells on the sidewalks collecting money for the less fortunate; and perhaps the most familiar and well-loved holiday symbol are the decorated Christmas trees that are showcased in almost every home.

Of course, everyone knows that this is the time of the year where loved ones gather together over a cup of eggnog laughing and swapping stories around the special tree. Most probably families have gone to Christmas tree shops scouring for ‘The One’ and together lug it home to see scrumptious dinners and joyful reunions take place.

Or maybe you already have a synthetic tree patiently waiting in the attic for its return on December; if there were no bonding moments shared in tree picking, for sure there will be priceless ones in tree decorating. Children especially are excited to help out in creating a beautiful tree. Make it truly special by allowing them creative rights in designing and making ornaments.

Try integrating animal or nature inspired themes to your home and tree. Pictures and little trinkets can hang from the limbs while cut-outs can be wound around the tree. Before they start draping their little artworks though, make sure you set up the sturdy and drape the lights all around it already. Last of all, have a child, picked out by his/her siblings or cousins, crown the tree with an heirloom ’star’ or angel. Let a different child do this each year and make the topping off a momentous occasion for all of them.

Allow them to choose the gifts they will give to friends and family. You can teach them the value of money as well as learn about the personality and particular thinking patterns of the child. Let him/her decide on which wrapping paper and ribbons to use and have them wrap the gifts themselves. Out of all the beautifully packaged presents; the home-made, often awkward looking gift will stand out and count as the most special.

Even if it may seem impractical to do so, do not keep presents locked away in secret places. Put them where they’re meant to be at-under the tree. Sure children, even grown-ups on most occasions, usually shake the mystery box and try to guess what’s inside; but they will find the place you stash them in anyway. At least under the tree, no culprit will dare to be caught in full view.

As much as you are able to, document the weeks preceding Christmas day. As excitement mounts up, more priceless moments usually take place; it’s good to have a video on hand to record it for future laughs-and blackmail. Decorated Christmas trees are more than just symbols of the holiday-it is a witness to many precious family moments.

And out of the many things that you have to get arranged for this bundle of love, setting up the room is one of the primary activities that you have to take care of.

It is essential to make a baby’s room very cosy and comfortable. You need to paint the walls in soft colours, which need not always be in pink or blue. If you wish to keep flowers in the room, then the floral arrangement has to be fresh and replaced everyday. A baby’s room looks incomplete without cuddlers and soft toys. Personalized baby show pieces are easily available in online web stores dedicated to provide lovely, wonderful and cute personalized baby gifts. The names can be embossed, encrusted or carved out. Or they can be simply pasted by varicoloured papers with different designs and patterns. Money Saving Tips For Air Travel Dec 20
With fuel prices at record levels, it is becoming more and more difficult for travelers to find those elusive bargains. Booking airfare can be a frustrating and expensive experience, and many of us have the nagging worry that the passengers sitting around us paid much less for the same ride.

Fortunately for cash-strapped travelers there are a number of proven ways to book that dream vacation or essential business trip for less. When it comes to air travel a little bit of flexibility can go a long way, and those flexible travelers are often able to score the best deals.

There are a number of areas in which a traveler’s flexible nature can pay big dividends. The most important of these include:

Departure Time – Many travelers do not realize how large a role departure time can have on airfare. While the savings vary, many seasoned travelers have learned that overnight flights (the so-called “red eye” and early morning flights often sport the lowest fares. Those passengers who are willing to take on some inconvenience in the form of odd hours flights may find themselves handsomely rewarded.

The Day of the Week – Seasoned travelers already know how difficult and expensive it can be to fly on peak days. Flying out on a Friday and back on a Sunday night can leave a serious dent in the traveler’s wallet. Those with more flexible schedules may want to consider traveling on days that tend to be less busy. While these busy times can vary considerably from airline to airline and location, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays are generally the best bets.

Advance Planning – When it comes to air travel, it pays to start planning early. While there are still the occasional last-minute bargains, these opportunities are expected to continue declining as more and more people take to the skies. Airlines typically use booking windows that look out 21 days, 14 days and 7 days, with the fares adjusting accordingly. Getting into the widest possible booking window will typically result in the greatest savings. Those travelers who plan to use frequent flier miles to book a trip should also be sure to book early. Those seats are limited and they tend to go fast, especially to hot locations like Europe or Hawaii.

Use Alternate Airports – The fares to and from airports in the same geographical region can vary substantially. Travelers who are willing to travel to airports further from home may be able to find significant savings. It is a good idea to compare airfares to and from several nearby airports.

Cheap Hotels Near Disneyland – Who Said Disneyland Hotels Couldn’t Be Cheap? Dec 19
So, you and your family have already picked the idyllic destination for your next family- Disneyland it is. The next stop is booking all the necessary things that you need for your vacation. The place that you will stay in can make or break your vacation. Most travelers though would just want a clean, inexpensive place to sleep in the night and store their things in, as they expect themselves to be out and about, exploring the wonders of Disneyland most of the day. In this case, cheap hotels near Disneyland are available.

Considering the place, one might think that hotels near Disneyland can coat an arm, but some hotels have agreements with travel booking websites that offer as low as $60 for a room per night. Not bad for a hotel room that will allow you savings as you won’t need to spend much on transportation.

The Holiday Inn Anaheim is one such example. Though a type of hotel that is no-frills, you’ll certainly enjoy the savings that you’ll get plus the exercise, as the hotel is just a 15-minute walk from the main gate of Disneyland. Say goodbye to wasted money and time from long rides to the theme park. The no-frills demeanor of the hotel may be a turn-off for some, as former guests have complained of noise and unkempt rooms. Another example of cheap hotels near Disneyland is the Carousel Inn. Right across the street from the theme park, it is perhaps the most accessible and convenient.

Hanging Grow Taller Exercise – Does it Work? Dec 14
You may be wondering if hanging on a bar can really help you grow taller. There are a lot of opinions regarding this height increasing method. A lot of people think that it is only a waste of time and energy.

Let’s make things simple. Measure your height before you sleep and after you wake up in the morning. You will see that you are taller in the morning than in night. Why? Because you were lying all night and the pressure in between your vertebrae has been relieved.

This is how hanging can also help increase your height. You are just letting gravity work for your benefit. Letting it pull you and straighten the length of your spine. It’s really that simple, no big secret.

Hanging on a bar in the morning works best. I know it can be a little bit tiring to do that is why you should not forget to take short breaks in between. It does not have to be a bar. You can use a tree branch or anything that you can find that serves the purpose. Just be sure that it will support your entire weight easily and comfortably.

How To Increase Your Height By Hanging

1. Make sure that your hands are shoulder width apart from each other.
2. Hang for as long as you can or at least a minimum of 10 to 15 seconds.
3. Take a break in between repetitions and making the repetitions a total of 5 minutes.

You can use a pair of gloves so it will be easier for your grip. This is very simple to perform. You just have to be sure that you follow the tips to make it as less tedious as it is. Hanging to grow taller is actually often used as a final exercise in most grow taller exercise routine.

Effective Ways to Find Time Writing Your Articles Dec 09
Finding or making time for your articles may sound overwhelming especially if you have so many things on your plate. However, you can make this possible by simply taking short breaks from your routines or changing your habits. You can be very productive as long as you are determined to find ways.

Here’s how you can make time for your articles:

1. Wake up earlier. Make it a habit to wake up at least an hour earlier each day. If you usually wake up at around 9am, set your alarm clock to 7am or 8am starting tonight. Writing first thing in the morning is really good as your house and most part of the world is quiet. This will allow you to focus on your writing task so you can be more productive.

2. Write before you sleep. If you are just like most people who cannot simply drag their bodies early in the morning, I recommend that you write at night or when all the people in your household are sleeping.

3. Take advantage of extra time. Always bring your pen, paper, or your laptop with you as you’ll never know when you’ll get free time. For example, you can write while waiting for your turn in your doctor’s office or while you are riding a bus to go to work. You can also create drafts if you finish your other tasks earlier.

4. Make small sacrifices. Be willing to skip your favorite TV series once in a while or pass up on your regular night outs with your friends and spend your time writing your articles instead.

How to Get Cheap Holidays Abroad Dec 09
There are many cheap holidays abroad to be found by shopping around since booking agents offer the same deals but often at hugely varying prices. Reports in the news are that there has been a surge in late bookings for the bank holiday weekend. Apparently around 2 million Brits will head abroad so they can secure some summer sun since the outlook for the UK this weekend could go either way.

There are many cheap holidays abroad where you will almost be guaranteed to feel the sun shining in your face, popular destinations for this weekend will be short breaks for the families however if you don’t have the constraints of sticking to school holiday terms then you can venture further a field for bargain holidays for this summer period and look to fly after this weekends bank holiday. If you are booking your flights and accommodation separately then it would be wise to book after Tuesday at the very least and if possible in mid September to avoid high flight prices.

Experts have previously advised the cheapest holidays abroad would be in countries outside the Euro zone such as Turkey and Bulgaria since the exchange rate dive bombed and almost hit a one euro to one pound exchange. However the exchange rate has improved greatly for those using sterling pound and there are many countries using the Euro where hotels are offering massive discounts off room prices which offsets the slightly higher costs of holidaying there.

If you are seeking a beach holiday add Spain, Portugal (which have suffered significantly from the downturn) Greece, and Turkey to your list of destinations and for city breaks there are bargain vacations to be found such as travelling to Rome and Barcelona and even New York.

I’ve heard of massive discounts off hotel prices of up to 50% for hotels in Spain and in New York. You will be able to afford a holiday this year or enjoy a luxury four star hotel!

Remember to shop around, use the internet to compare deals and visit your travel agent to see what there offers are. If you have found great deals on the internet it can be worth bargaining with the high street travel agent to see if they are willing to match or beat your deal.

Save Money by Traveling to Parks Dec 04
Parks are a great addition to any area that you live in. I know that for me where I live I can easily travel to any parks that are in my area and even outside of my area because they are so easy to get into. Not only that by traveling to parks I am able to save money because for the most part going into a park is free, but at times you might be charges a small fee even then it is considerably cheaper than if you were traveling and staying in a hotel. However, the fee does go up if you are going to be camping in the park. Here are some of the benefits of traveling to a park for a short vacation.

The first benefit of traveling to a park is that you can enjoy nature in an area that is generally much quieter than what you are used to. I know that for some of us that live in the country you might be asking how can it get much quieter, but when you are in the comfort of a park where it seems like the wildlife knows that hunters will not be you can discover just how quiet it is and how much nature surrounds you more than even at your own home.

The second benefit of going to a park is they are generally free and offer a wide variety of activities for people of all ages. I know that my kids enjoy going because of the playground equipment, my dogs like going because of the nature trails, and I enjoy going because of the available exercise of walking on the trails.
