I have the child who is freshman at the Columbia University on a city of New York. I even bought her the plane ticket to go home for weekend visit & booked the Supper Shuttle vans from car rental Texas to pick her nearby her dorm weeks at advance. 15 MINUTES before she is supposed to stand at corner waiting for shuttle, dispatcher called & told her that they wouldn’t come to pick up her.
Like that. No other explanation. She has been left to fend to herself & try to hail the cab at streets with her own suitcase. Since I have pre-paid for shuttle, she has to 1st gone to ATM machine for getting enough cash for cab (she had about 50 dollars at her wallet). It is the nightmarish experience. She nearly missed her own flight & was stressed out. While I called the Super Shuttle they stated simply they could refund my price but never ever offered the explanation for simply determined not to collect child. It was a most frustrating argument which I have never had with cheap car rentals Boston. Of course they didn’t compensate us for additional sums we’re forced to spend on getting regular taxi at last minute.
My opinion is, if you have to make sure that you will make your flight, do not EVER use the Supper Shuttle. It is simply not of reliable service. I’m amazed they may stay at business.
I got screwed by super shuttle at Vancouver car rental. They bought Classic Transportation (that is the only shuttle to Longer Island), & Classic was flat out horrible. On a way in, they even lost one person appointment, got 2 of our addresses wrongly (we got to flights at time because a guy drove as freaking’ maniac’).
